Timeline for 2008-2009 Applications

• July 2008-September 30, 2008 – Applications Accepted
• September 30, 2008 5:00 pm (CST) – Due date for submission of complete application materials
• October-December 2008– Internal review and approval
• late-December, 2008 – Initial decision announcement (pending NIH approval)
• February/March 2009 – Final review and approval (NIH)
• June 2009 (date TBD) - Mandatory Career Development Retreat and Scholar Orientation
• July 1, 2009– 2009 Scholar start date
